As of March 25, 2007, EPT became the first supplier of collapsible composite IBCs to meet the stringent United Nations performance requirements for international shipping containers for dangerous goods, including the U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) and the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG). This prestigious U.N. certification of EPT’s IBC requires passing specific performance tests for vibration, bottom lift, stacking, hydrostatic pressure and drop resistance.

Design
BIG Red IBCs are constructed with three walls of high-impact resistant composite in a unique octagonal shape. Replaceable and recyclable inner liner bags are made of 100% FDA-approved composite materials and can be changed quickly and inexpensively, enabling immediate reuse regardless of the previous product shipped.
