HOUSTON, TX –June 3, 2011  – Environmental Packaging Technologies today announced that Founder and Owner, Tatiana Golovina, is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2011 Gulf Coast Area Award finalist. According to Ernst & Young LLP, the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Ms. Golovina was selected as a finalist from nearly 50 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on Wednesday, June 22 at the Houston Intercontinental Hotel.

In 2003, Tatiana invested in a small company that made IBC’s and flexitanks. She quickly realized that in order to be successful, the company needed to reposition itself as a global service provider as well as a bulk packaging manufacturer. She bought the company and in 2007 formed EPT in Houston, Texas, launching the BIG Red Flexitank and a packaging company focused on service, quality and the environment. Today, EPT is recognized as a market leader in product innovation, quality, marketing, and customer service. With twelve offices around the world, over 80 employees, and a network of agents and depots, EPT provides packaging solutions to Fortune 500 companies shipping everything from wine and palm oil to antifreeze and base oils.
